p. 74 #1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, 13

Some of these are short proofs, but not all of them.  The best way to learn how to do proofs is to attempt them, learn from your mistakes, see more examples, and try again.  We’ll be doing many more examples in class the next few days.

Old HW:  due on Monday was p. 67 #1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 14, 16, 21
