Yes, I believe that we will have school on Friday, and yes, I believe we will be having a quiz.

    What are the equations for midpoint and length?

    Midpoint: add the two x values, divide by 2 to get the x term; add the two y values, divide by two to get the y term.

    Distance: find the difference of the x terms square it; find the difference of the y terms and square it; add those two sums, then take the square root of it. An alternative is to plot the points, draw a right triangle, and use Pythagorean Theorem.

    Otherwise, check the text in lesson 1.3 for the formulas.
